Kevin Garnett is considered one of the greatest power forwards to ever play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted straight out of high school in 1995 by the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he spent the first 12 years of his career. Garnett was known for his versatile playing style, combining exceptional athleticism with a high basketball IQ. He was a 15-time NBA All-Star, 9-time All-NBA selection, and the league's Most Valuable Player in 2004. Garnett helped lead the Boston Celtics to an NBA championship in 2008 and was also a key member of the USA men's basketball team that won gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Garnett retired in 2016 with career averages of 17.8 points, 10 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
